***COVID-19 UPDATE***

Kids First Pediatric Dentistry Revised Office Policies
(Effective October 1st , 2020)
While life is returning to some semblance of normal, we want to remain vigilant to protect you, your families, and our staff. With children returning to school and cold and flu season fast approaching we will retain the same policies that we have had in place for the last several months. As new information and best practice recommendations change, along with changing federal, state and local regulations, these are subject to change.

-
If you or your child is sick or is showing any symptoms of COVID-19 please reschedule your appointment and contact your primary care doctor.
-
All families will answer a questionnaire/screening form prior to their appointment.
-
If you arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment, please remain in your and call us to notify us you have arrived. We will let you know when you can come into the office.
-
If your child is 12 years of age or older they may come into the office by themselves for the appointment. Please stay in the parking lot to pick up your child when they are done as they will not be allowed to stay in the office after their appointment.
-
If your child is 11 years of age or younger you have to come into the office for the appointment and accompany your child to the treatment area.
-
Only one caregiver will be allowed to accompany a child for their appointment.
-
Siblings, who do not have an appointment, can not come to the office.
-
All adults who enter the office are required to wear masks. If you do not have one we will provide one but, due to the lack of PPE available to us, we ask that you bring your own, if at all possible.
-
All patients and caregivers should use the provided hand sanitizer upon arrival.
-
If anyone in your family is diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of your appointment please let us know immediately.
In addition, we are doing the following to keep you safe:

-
All staff will be screened daily and any one showing any symptoms of COVID-19 will be sent home.
-
HEPA Air filters will be utilized in the office and will be running throughout the day. These air filters have enough capacity to clean the air (including particles smaller than coronavirus) in the office every 15 minutes.
-
All high touch surfaces (door knobs, handles, etc) will be cleaned at regular intervals.
-
The patient bathroom will be available for emergencies only.
-
Our waiting room has been reconfigured. All toys and books have been removed and there are only a few chairs available. If you are in the waiting room, please proceed to the furthest chair from the door to allow other families to enter the office while maintaining social distancing.
-
The prize tower has been relocated to behind the front desk. Children will still get a coin, and be allowed to pick their prize but they will give the coin to a member of the office who will physically place it in the tower and retrieve their prize.

ABOUT US

For over 10 years, we have been striving to make your children comfortable at the dentist while providing the highest quality in dental care. We are committed to helping your children and you have a positive dental experience in order to achieve healthy smiles today and for a lifetime.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
Routine Cleanings
We offer comprehensive services for your children including routine 6 month cleanings, x-rays and flouride treatments.
Simple Fillings, Crowns and Extractions
Have a cavity? We can fix it for you! Whether your child requires a simple filling or needs more significant work we are able to provide it safely and effectively.
Digital X-Rays
We understand reducing radiation is important. That's why all of our x-rays are digital, reducing the radiation for your family while still allowing us to get the information we need.
Nitrous Oxide

Is your child a little nervous or active? We can provide Nitrous Oxide to help. Your child will be awake and alert the entire time but (hopefully!) a little more cooperative.
Operating Room Dentistry
If your child needs a lot of work or is just too young to cooperate for fillings we have an option for you as well. We can bring your child to an operating room, with a licensed anesthesiologist monitoring your child, and complete all of your child's dental work in one visit.
An Open Door Policy
Some offices won't let you stay with your child during any visit. Others won't let you stay with your child during a filling. We encourage parents to come back for all of their visits. Children do better when their parents are in the room and we will never seperate you from your child.
